Integrated training and employment action for unemployed people aged 25-45
With funding from the Recovery Fund, DYPA is proceeding with the implementation of an innovative action that combines the training of the unemployed with their subsidized employment in new jobs. The dual objective is on the one hand to upgrade their skills, with relevant certification from an independent body, to prepare them for work in high-demand and cutting-edge sectors, and on the other hand to promote them to 6-month full-time positions to gain professional experience in the new skills they have just acquired .
The project concerns 15,000 unemployed people aged 25-45, through training vouchers of 80 hours, with an emphasis on the development of green and digital skills. Those who complete and receive certification will be entitled to up to 400 euros training allowance, i.e. 5 euros per hour.
After the training, there will be a program of subsidized 6-month employment in companies, in order to apply and practice their new skills and knowledge, with the DYPA covering:
• 100% of the salary and contributions for hiring unemployed people aged 25-30 (up to 6,132 euros per job)
• and 80% for hiring unemployed people aged 31-45 (up to 4,906 euros per job).
The total budget of the action amounts to 88.7 million euros.
