Training program for Private Security Personnel for 5,000 unemployed people aged 18-50
To cover the large number of vacancies in the field of security services, the new action for 5,000 unemployed will include 105-hour theoretical training programs, through modern distance education, leading to the acquisition of basic knowledge and skills as Level 1 Private Security Personnel (post-secondary) and relevant certification (by EOPPEP in collaboration with KEMEA), with the aim of their immediate reintegration into the labor market.
The training will be carried out through training vouchers from a provider chosen by the beneficiaries themselves, from the DYPA provider register specific for this project. The project was designed and is being implemented in the context of the national effort to upgrade the skills of the Human Resources, with the aim of both their effective connection with the labor market and the improvement of their employability, as well as the preservation of future jobs.
The total budget of the action amounts to 5.77 million euros.
